Since 1997 the state-investment project "Latvian Education Informatization Systemïs being carried out in Latvia. Through this project the needs of all groups of schoolchildren, including very gifted ones, are to be served. Particularly, the system of advanced-level activities in mathematics is developed on Internet basis. In the report the Internet-based resources, the use of Internet in organizational matters and the Internet-based competitions are considered. The more detailed information can be found in [1].
